With a designed capacity of 30 TBMs and 50 refurbished TBMs annually, China Railway Engineering Equipment Group (Tianjin) Co., LTD. was established by CREG on June 27th 2017 to provide services covering TBM and tunneling equipment design, research and development, assembly and commissioning, maintenance, refurbishing, leasing, technical consulting, machine and accessories sales, steel mould design and manufacturing.

By February 28 2019 CREG Tianjin has set up 13 bases all around China to meet its needs for TBM manufacturing and refurbishing business, and has held FAT for 10 new TBMs and 35 refurbished TBMs.
