CREG designed and manufactured two Φ11.05m EPB TBMs for DS233/2 Deep Tunnel Storm Water System in Dubai, UAE to serve World Expo 2020. The tunnel, 10,426m in length, is the main tunnel of the whole flood and stormwater discharge system, and will pass through sandstone and mudstone strata. The breakthrough of the two TBMs were achieved on April 11, 2020 and June 11, 2020.
