Project Facts

Product Facts

In 2015, CREG secured an order of six EPB TMBs for Tel Aviv Red Line Project (West Segment), which includes six underground stations, two 5.5km bored tunnels and 16 cross passages. Geology therein is mainly Kurkar formation with quick sand, which makes settlement control extremely difficult and requires large torque with robust thrust force. A service team and a spare parts warehouse were set up at the project site for whole-life-cycle service, which provided a strong guarantee for the safe and efficient operation of six TBMs. On September 20th, 2018, all six TBMs successfully completed the excavation tasks as scheduled.
