When the machine is operating in Jialingjiang River Bridge Tunnel Project, it finishes one round of work in 14 to 16 hours and drives for 1.8m with much excavation of 200m3. It saves 34 hours as opposed to the 48 hours by conventional impact hammer and breaking hammer. This environmentally friendly method not only ensured the stability of surface buildings but also saved time.
