On 29th August, 2016, the commissioning ceremony of CREC R73, a gripper TBM refurbished by CREG took place in Bien Hoa, Dong Nai, Vietnam.

The 3.9m diameter gripper TBM was supplied by former Wirth (acquired by CREG in 2013) and applied to the Todini Project in Italy. With the completion of its refurbishment, the machine shall work for the Da Nhim Hydropower Plant Expansion project in central Vietnam.
