Chinese TBM Makes Its Debut at the World’s Largest Construction Machinery Fair

China Railway Engineering Equipment Group Co., Ltd. (CREG) presents its latest innovative technologies and designs for underground works and tunnels, including its tailored tunnel boring machines, auxiliary equipments and proven tunneling references at the high profile Bauma 2016, Munich from 11 April to 17 April. It is the first show of Chinese TBM at the world’s largest construction machinery fair. To highlight the corporate image, CREG has integrated elements of the Great Wall and tunnels into the background design of its booth.

The models presented by CREG include a hard rock TBM used for Lebanon Greater Beirut Water Supply Project, a rectangular TBM applied to Singapore Metro Project, a sand model showing its one-hand solutions to underground space development and tunnels. Meanwhile, China Railway Science & Industry Group Co., Ltd. (CRSIC), a sister company under China Railway Group Limited (CREC), also exhibits its concrete breaker, bridge erector and track layer. It is a collective show of the industrial equipments of CREC at the global fair, presenting the considerable progress made by CREC in the course of going global.



Zhang Xian, vice president of CREC is also present at the exhibition. Bauma 2016 also attracts delegations from Europe, Russia, Middle East, Asia and Latin America.
