The Contact Signing Ceremony for Supplying Six EPB TMBs for the Red Line Project (Western Segment), Tel Aviv of Israel officially took place in Zhengzhou on 19^th October, 2015. CREG is to supply six 7.54 m-diameter EPB TBMs, auxiliary equipment, and full technical assistance for boring operations and equipment maintenance.

Based on CREG’s abundant construction experience, the six 7.54m diameter EPB TBMs have been specially designed to cope with the Kurkar ground, and will be used to excavate the two bored single track tunnels of the Red Line Project (Western Segment) in Tel Aviv of Israel, which was once the largest government-licensed infrastructure project since the founding of Israel. The Western Segment includes six underground stations, two 5.5 km bored tunnels and 16 transverse walkways.
