On December 1, 2014,  Tunnel of Hongzhuan Road Beneath the Zhongzhou Avenue Opened to Traffic, creating a fast east-west track between old and new city area with grand two-way 4-lane. 

The tunnel constructed by CREG Rectangle TBM with the outstanding features of minimum depth, world largest cutter diameter, minimum clearing space, and longest tunnel without relays, contributed new construction method to city underground construction.
