On September 6, 2014, Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong made a visit at Lentor MRT Station to attend the Ground Breaking Ceremony. A CREG slurry TBM model was shown in the ceremony and Prime Minster Lee Hsien Loong inspected this model with the demonstration of the functions by the representative of CREG. Lot T209 includes the Lentor station, as part of the Thomson Line, is to be constructed by China Railway No. 5 Engineering Group with CREG as the TBM supplier.
