A few days ago, Zhengzhou Science and Technology Bureau announced the list of 66 certified engineering technology research centers, and the Zhengzhou Shield and Tunneling Engineering Research Center our company applied was on the top of the list.
The Center is a professional research institution that in combination with the national long-and-medium term scientific and technological development plan, focused on key subjects in technological development of international shield machine and TBM, and based on assimilating advanced technology of other countries and engineering and geological features of China, tries to solve the key problems of research and development of shield machine and TBM in China, achieve energy and resource conservation, and conduct the study of basic application, key technology and common technology. The Center established in our company will greatly the competitive edge of China Railway Tunneling Equipment Co., Ltd. in the area of TBM industry.
The main research areas of the Center are adaptive association technology of cutter, cutter head and boring rock (earth), performance detection and design technology of main bearing, integrated technology in electro-hydraulic control system, multiple variable-frequency drive control theory and applied technology, integrated technology in control system, shield boring micro-perturbation control technology, underwater shield boring key technology, segment liner design model, etc.
The Center aims at establishing an innovation model of shield and boring engineering technology research center integrating soft soil shield technology and hard rock TBM technology with distinct Chinese characteristics so as to provide a good supporting system for advanced shield technical staff badly need in economic and social development both locally and nationally. Using the Center as a R & D platform, our company strives to make the general research level of shield and boring technology in China catch up with or surpass in certain fields the advanced level of the world through solving a key problem in technology in three to five years.
